ARPA Announces the Establishment of its Community for Africa

Dear ARPA community,

Today we are proud to add another stroke to our blueprint of ARPA’s global community development effort. We present to you the ARPA Africa community. It is currently a young community with ARPA supporters from countries such as Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa. Zimbabwe, Uganda, among others.

Blockchain technology and crypto in Africa is gaining momentum and the adoption rate is booming in countries such as Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa and Zimbabwe, Uganda. According to Hootsuite’s 2019 Global Digital Yearbook, 10.7% of South Africans possess crypto — the highest of any country surveyed. Nigeria also makes the list at 7.8%, with Ghana at 7.3%. The opportunity and feasibility of this cooperation with Africa is practical and appealing.

With 50,000+ supporters in ARPA’s global community spreading across 9 languages, ARPA has built an amazingly diverse, increasingly diverse community. The ARPA team has long realized the importance of Africa. Adding another language community in ARPA will certainly provide convenience for the mainstream blockchain in Africa who want a better user experience to enhance the adoption of blockchain and crypto solutions.

ARPA will also strive to be the trailblazer to educate the local enterprises and communities about data privacy and privacy-preserving computation.

We are very confident that this cooperation with ARPA’s initiative in the Africa region will greatly boost awareness about data privacy and incredibly increase the understanding of the crypto world in African community and eventually improve the lives of locals.
