ARPA’s Afterparty at Sky21 in Macau

ARPA co-hosted the Crypto & Blockchain meetup and afterparty during Sora Summit in Macau on Wednesday, November 14th 2018.

During November 13th & 14th, Sora Ventures hosted Sora Summit at the Macau Tower Convention & Entertainment Centre, also known as Macau Tower.

Macau is a special administrative region of China located west of Hong Kong that was once a colony of Portugal. The city is well-known for casino gaming, nightlife, and entertainment.

The meetup was co-hosted by ARPA, Secrypto Labs and BlockARK, and sponsored by CBX.One, DUO Network and EtherZero. The event took place at Sky21 Bar & Restaurant, where more than 200 guests from all over the world gathered. These guests are from renowned projects, exchanges, and funds such as, BlockTower Capital, Sora Ventures, Zilliqa, Jinse Finance, Mars Finance, Macau Evening, Hashed, Draper Dragon, Pantera Capital, Huobi, OK Capital, Binance, FBG Capital, Blockcloud, AlphaSlot, Ledger Capital, CoinSuper, Everest Ventures, and many more.

Countries and regions represented are: USA, Russia, Japan, Korea, mainland China, Hongkong, Macau, Europe and Africa.

Yemu then touched briefly on ARPA’s vision and the goal it wants to achieve:

ARPA’s infrastructure can enable many applications such as data rental platform and data exchanges.

The event was scheduled to run from 7pm until 10pm, but more than half of the guests stayed and talked well past midnight, sparking many productive and interesting conversations.

In terms of the progress, APRA already has the Proof of Concept (POC) and is expecting to launch testnet in early 2019.
