ARPA Partners With Raze
On Apr 16th, ARPA announced a strategic partnership with Raze, a Substrate-based cross-chain privacy protocol for the Polkadot ecosystem.
Raze Network, as a cross-chain privacy middleware for DeFi and Web3.0, aims to provide end-to-end anonymity for this entire sector and strives to do whatever it takes to keep user data and online footprints confidential. Since both teams are heading in the same direction, we foresee many synergies. ARPA and Raze Network understand what it means to fight for privacy, and how sacred this value is. Both our visions are greater than ourselves.

ARPA Codebase Now Open-Sourced, Taking Privacy-Preserving Computation to the Next Level With Global Developers
On Apr 15th, ARPA codebase went fully open-sourced. You can view the development progress of ARPA on GitLab, discuss and research multiparty privacy-preserving computing technologies with us. We strive for a digital world where privacy is protected, and data is securely shared.
After 3 years of extensive research and engineering, from prototypes to MPC mainnet, we have accumulated valuable knowledge of cryptography and insights into the Blockchain industry. Now we are combining our specialties in MPC with a vision of Blockchain 3.0, aiming to deliver infrastructures that will facilitate mass adoption of NFTs across different industries. VRF will be the first part of the infrastructure we present.

ARPA Partners with Litentry to Enhance Decentralized Data Security
On Apr 13th, ARPA announced a technical partnership with Litentry.
Under this partnership, we will be working closely to explore matching target users, analyzing user on and off-chain data without exposing user data in a privacy-preserving way with MPC technology.
Moreover, on a higher level, we will cooperate to contribute to the standard of decentralized identity and MPC.

ARPA x Pancakeswap | ARPA Syrup Pool & Farm Open!
On Apr 10th, the ARPA Syrup Pool was officially open on PancakeSwap.
In March 2021, ARPA (BEP-20) went live on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) network, deposit & withdrawal then opened in April, enabling ARPA to interact with DApps on BSC and freely exchange with its ecological coins. As the first billion-dollar project on Binance Smart Chain, PancakeSwap is the most talked-about DEX in town.
With PancakeSwap’s rising popularity and whooping DeFi volumes, the ARPA team believes that this will be another step towards our explorations in the BSC ecosystem. More collaborations with great projects on BSC have yet to come, stay tuned!

ARPA x AWS | Bring Mass Adoption To Privacy-Preserving Computation
On Apr 8th, ARPA announced that ARPA secure computation nodes were live on Amazon Web Services (AWS) marketplace.
ARPA secure computation nodes on AWS provide an engine for secure computation, thanks to ARPA’s blockchain-based multi-party computation network. Users can process their customized application or circuit upon this in a secure computation method. ARPA mainnet cryptographically enables private smart contracts, unprecedented data-at-use privacy protection, as well as scalable computational sharding.
More features of the computation node will be released, including autonomous networking, a more easy-to-use programming language, and profiting from providing computation power by accessing ARPA mainnet.

2021 Q1 Quartly Token Burn: 6mil ARPA Tokens Burnt
On Mar 31st, ARPA foundation conducted a round of quarterly token burn as mentioned in the earlier roadmap update. 6,000,000 ARPA tokens were burnt in this round, worth about $548,400 at the current price. The amount burnt has been sent to the black hole address shown below.
By the end of this round of token burn, the total amount of ARPA burnt adds up to 137,000,000, accounting for 13.7% of the circulation supply(1,000,000,000), 6.85% of the total supply(2,000,000,000), worth around $16,000,000 USD as of now.

About ARPA
ARPA is a blockchain-based solution for privacy-preserving computation, enabled by Multi-Party Computation (“MPC”). Founded in April 2018, the goal of ARPA is to separate data utility from ownership and enable data renting. ARPA’s MPC protocol creates ways for multiple entities to collaboratively analyze data and extract data synergies while keeping each party’s data input private and secure. ARPA allows secret sharing of private data, and the correctness of computation is verifiable using information-theoretic Message Authentication Code (MAC).
Developers can build privacy-preserving dApps on blockchains compatible with ARPA. Some immediate use cases include: credit anti-fraud, secure data wallet, precision marketing, joint AI model training, key management systems, etc. For example, banks using the ARPA network can share their credit blacklist for risk management purposes without exposing their customer data or privacy.
Team members have worked at leading institutions such as Google, Amazon, Huawei, Fosun, Tsinghua University, Fidelity Investments. ARPA is currently assisting the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology in setting the national standard for secure multi-party computation. ARPA is a corporate member of MPC Alliance and IEEE and is in partnership with fortune 500 companies to implement proofs-of-concept and MPC products. In 2019, ARPA was named the Top 10 most innovative blockchain companies in China by China Enterprise News and China Software Industry Association.
