  1. Blockchain-based privacy-preserving computation tool group standard was released. ARPA participated in the standard development

ARPA Flash Token Burn

On Dec 30th, 11,111,111 ARPA (worth ~$340k) has been removed from the circulation forever — this is the largest single token burn in ARPA’s history!

The Chinese Academy of Information and Communications(CAICT): Blockchain Needs to be Integrated with Privacy-Preserving Computation

On October 29th, 2020, the Chengdu Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair — 1st International Blockchain Industry Expo was hosted in Western China International Expo City. The conference was jointly organized by Chengdu Municipal People’s Government, China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (hereinafter referred to as “CAICT”), and other related organizations.

ARPA is a leader in secure multi-party computing (MPC) technology. With MPC, operations can be performed on encrypted data, making the data available for analysis while keeping it invisible and secure. ARPA helps different organizations conduct data sharing, model training, and prediction while meeting user privacy protection requirements, data security policies, and regulations. Shared learning technology has been applied to various business scenarios such as credit, risk control, insurance, and government affairs.

Five New Mining Pools Added to ARPA Mainnet

On Dec 24th, five new mining pools are added to ARPA mainnet. Current mining Pool hard cap 3,000,000 ARPA, min staking amount 50,000 ARPA, estimated APY 10–15%.

ARPA Russian Reps Joined the Commission on Blockchain Technologies and Crypto Economy of Russia

On Dec 10th, ARPA Russian representatives, Nik Anikin and Yan Khavanskiy were selected as members of The Commission on Blockchain Technologies and Crypto Economy of Russia.

Yan Khavanskiy, Nik Anikin, as ARPA Russian reps and the founders of Colibri Group, will bring their international experience, consulting practices, and analytical data to help the Commission to a better growth. They will also broaden the interaction and communication by provision of the research and applied experience of ARPA, Colibri Group, Xangle, and partner companies.

Nik Anikin is Director for Russia and the CIS for ARPA and Colibri Group CEO. He helps ARPA and the technologies behind (including Multi-party Computations) scale in the Russian-speaking countries. ARPA has been implementing multi-party computation (MPC) technology with industry giants.

ARPA Co-founder Yemu Xu Attended APEC Voices of the Future 2020 Webinar as China Representative

On Nov 30th, ARPA co-founder & CGO Yemu Xu attended the APEC Voices of the future 2020 Webinar as one of the China representatives.

As one of the 30 pre-selected panelists from 21 APEC economies, Yemu was the only representative from economy China that was eligible to ask questions to the three distinguished panelists on stage.

During the panel discussions, Yemu put forward his insightful questions on the impact of COVID-19 on cryptocurrencies, and the answer from the panelists is more than excellent.
