02 Community, Marketing & Listings
The Fourth Round of BEL Airdrops for ARPA Holders Have Distributed on BHEX
On July 28th, BHEX has distributed the fourth round of the BEL airdrop for ARPA holders. The fifth-round snapshot of ARPA holdings will be taken from 30 September, 2021 to 15 October, 2021 (UTC+8). BHEX will conduct the fifth round of airdrops after the snapshot. Please see the airdrop rules here:
Binance Completed the Fourth Round of BEL Airdrops to ARPA Holders
On July 27th, Binance completed the fourth round of BEL airdrop to ARPA holders. Banance users can confirm the receipt of tokens via the Distribution History page in the User Center. For more information, please refer to the original announcement:
Felix Xu | Privacy-Preserving Computation on Blockchains Could Prevent Breaches
On July 11th, Felix Xu, the co-founder and CEO of ARPA and Bella Protocol, published an article on Cointelegraph regarding privacy-preserving computation and data breaches. Can privacy-preserving computation end the data monopoly of the giants? Read Felix’s thoughts here:
Staking Event with Binance
On July 8th, ARPA hosted a staking event on Binance with 16% APY for 15 days. Binance has added $ARPA to the list of supported assets on Savings, a value-added service to Binance users who hold idle digital assets. Read more here:
Felix Xu | The Intrinsic Value of Crypto Beyond the Financial Cycles
On July 2nd, Felix Xu, the co-founder and CEO of ARPA and Bella Protocol, published an article regarding the intrinsic value of crypto beyond the financial cycles. Felix and the ARPA team have had the opportunity to think deeply about the nature of blockchain technology and its applications over the past three years of operations. About ARPA
ARPA is a blockchain-based solution for privacy-preserving computation, enabled by Multi-Party Computation (“MPC”). Founded in April 2018, the goal of ARPA is to separate data utility from ownership and enable data renting. ARPA’s MPC protocol creates ways for multiple entities to collaboratively analyze data and extract data synergies while keeping each party’s data input private and secure. ARPA allows secret sharing of private data, and the correctness of computation is verifiable using the information-theoretic Message Authentication Code (MAC).
Developers can build privacy-preserving dApps on blockchains compatible with ARPA. Some immediate use cases include: credit anti-fraud, secure data wallet, precision marketing, joint AI model training, key management systems, etc. For example, banks using the ARPA network can share their credit blacklist for risk management purposes without exposing their customer data or privacy.
Team members have worked at leading institutions such as Google, Amazon, Huawei, Fosun, Tsinghua University, Fidelity Investments. ARPA is currently assisting the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology in setting the national standard for secure multi-party computation. ARPA is a corporate member of MPC Alliance and IEEE and is in partnership with fortune 500 companies to implement proofs-of-concept and MPC products. In 2019, ARPA was named the Top 10 most innovative blockchain companies in China by China Enterprise News and China Software Industry Association.
