ARPA Released New Year Message from CEO Felix Xu

As the year 2022 came to a close, ARPA’s CEO, Felix Xu, took some time to reflect on the team’s efforts over the past year and provide an update on what’s to come in 2023. In a video posted on December 31st, Felix mentioned that the new ARPA mainnet and our highly anticipated verifiable random number generator, Randcast, are both expected to debut in the first half of 2023.

ARPA Released a Guide to Crypto Events in Q1 2023

On December 13th, ARPA released a guide to the top crypto events happening in the first quarter of 2023. If you want to stay up-to-date and ahead of the game in the constantly evolving world of crypto, be sure to mark your calendars and plan to attend these events. Don’t miss out on this chance to expand your knowledge and connect with others in the community. Keep an eye out for more guides to future events in the coming quarters.

ARPA Network Released a New Addition to the Website

On December 8th, ARPA Network released a new addition to its website — the MPC Knowledge Base. This page was created as a way for ARPA to share our research and studies with the public. At ARPA, we believe that faith in the blockchain technology should be rooted in knowledge, and we are committed to helping people learn about this field. Whether you are a tech-savvy individual or new to the world of blockchain, we encourage you to dive into the rabbit hole of the MPC Knowledge Base.

If you are interested in learning more about the cryptography subset threshold signature scheme (TSS), we recommend checking out the first post on the page. This will provide you with a deeper understanding of TSS and how it works.

Explore the second post, where you can learn about ARPA’s design for a Random Number Generator (RNG) built upon the threshold Boneh-Lynn-Shacham (BLS) algorithm. By reading this post, you will not only gain a better understanding of our RNG design, but you may also be inspired to come up with your own solutions in the future.

Binance Added ARPA/ETH Trading Pair

On November 18th, Binance opened trading for ARPA/ETH trading pair. Thank you to all of our communities for supporting us. Read the full announcement here:

ARPA Network Had YouTube AMA with Turkish Community Kripto Kurdu

About ARPA

ARPA Network (ARPA) is a decentralized secure computation network built to improve the fairness, security, and privacy of blockchains. ARPA threshold BLS signature network serves as the infrastructure of verifiable Random Number Generator (RNG), secure wallet, cross-chain bridge, and decentralized custody across multiple blockchains.

ARPA was previously known as ARPA Chain, a privacy-preserving Multi-party Computation (MPC) network founded in 2018. ARPA Mainnet has completed over 224,000 computation tasks in the past years. Our experience in MPC and other cryptography laid the foundation for our innovative threshold BLS signature schemes (TSS-BLS) system design and led us to today’s ARPA Network.

Randcast, a verifiable Random Number Generator (RNG), is the first application that leverages ARPA as infrastructure. Randcast offers a cryptographically generated random source with superior security and low cost compared to other solutions. Metaverse, game, lottery, NFT minting and whitelisting, key generation, and blockchain validator task distribution can benefit from Randcast’s tamper-proof randomness.
