01 ARPA Development Dynamics & Technology Progress
Developed MP-ECDSA for threshold signature
- Located the iteration errors in round key generation protocol and promised to upgrade the protocol functions.
- Configured the dependent environment of zero-knowledge proof based on Paillier homomorphic encryption.
Upgraded the runtime environment dependency of MPC, completed the testing of automatic deployment, and adapted Ubuntu and Debian.
Updated the version of the Apollo system and added information display to the Staking module.
Updated the version of the official website, and added the news module, which supported view of media news by one-click.
Regarding the bonus scheme on the main network of ARPA, determined
- The interval for distributing MPC computing jobs
- The method for selecting MPC computing nodes
- The measuring criteria for MPC computing bonus
Further optimized the engineering architecture of the main network
Upgraded the MPC node encryption communication certificate module.
- Used the standard OpenSSL for implementation.
- Fixed the bug that occurred due to generation of certificates during node communication.
Designed threshold signature, which can be used as the prototype of the distributed random number generation algorithm on the main network.
Upgraded the Ethereum interface of the test network.
Designed the interaction process on the main network.
MPC-related Developments
- Fixed the Makefile bug in the MPC compilation file.
- Upgraded all in dependencies of the MPC code library.
- Designed the job distribution module for the MPC main network.
- Designed the initial bonus module for the MPC main network.
- Designed the user interaction module for the MPC main network.
- Optimized the job computing process for the MPC main network.
- Improved the running protocol of off-chain MPC verification on the main network.
- Improved the bonus model for scheduled jobs of MPC.
- Improved the automatic configuration process of MPC.
02 Invitations to Meetings
During the Korean Blockchain Week, ARPA organized an offline meeting by working with Gate.io and MakerDAO. All VIPs of Gate.io in Korea presented in the meeting. The meeting site was crowded with more than 100 participants.
Felix Xu, the co-founder and CEO of ARPA shared his opinions on the security of privacy data and the applications of MPC in blockchain.
On October 13, the Tokyo Privacy 2.0 Conference was held in Tokyo Ginza in order to celebrate the blockchain diversity in Southeast Asia. ARPA was invited to participate in the conference and give a speech on data security and privacy. Other participants included CoinTelegraph, Ledger and Quras.
Yemu Xu, co-founder and CGO of ARPA, introduced ARPA’s privacy security technology, MPC and the latest locking pledge plan of ARPA.
According to the size of this conference and the recent influence of virtual currencies in Japan, ARPA would gain more attention and support in the Japanese and Korean blockchain area.
03 Community Progress
Second Destruction of Tokens
The ARPA Foundation has completed the second destruction of tokens. 10 million ARPA tokens were destroyed this time, which was valued about $80,000 at the destruction time. The destroyed tokens were transferred to the blackhole address: 0x168115cf806009f8984f47c90033e9a9705b4f65.
By far, the Foundation has destroyed 20 million tokens in total.

During the Korean Blockchain Week, Felix Xu, the co-founder and CEO of ARPA, was interviewed by The Nodist, which is a mainstream media in the Japanese and Korean blockchain field. Felix shared his opinions on the importance of privacy data security.

Binance 2nd Community Coin Voting Program
ARPA was selected to take part in the second community coin voting program competition for marketing tokens in Binance. The voting started at 4:00am (UTC) of November 5. The winner of the voting program will be listed on Binance.com.
AMA in Binance’s International Communities
ARPA officially started AMA in Binance’s international communities, including English, Chinese, Korean, Russian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Indonesian, Indian, Vietnamese.
Third Token Burn
The ARPA Foundation has completed the third token burn. 10 million ARPA tokens were burnt this time, which was valued about $170,000 at the destruction time. The burnt tokens were transferred to the blackhole address: 0x168115cf806009f8984f47c90033e9a9705b4f65. By far, the Foundation has destroyed 30 million tokens in total.
Becoming an Institutional Node of LBank Exchange
On October 29, ARPA announced that it has become one of the first institutional nodes of LBANK. To this end, the two parties will start cooperation in many aspects. ARPA will introduce more high-quality projects to LBank, while LBank will help ARPA build a healthier and more booming blockchain ecosystem.
Won the LongBit Voting for Free Listing
ARPA won the first voting for token listing on LongBit. ARPA was listed on LongBit on October 29 2:00 pm (SGT) and opened the ARPA/USDT exchange market.
Cooperated with Vietnamese Blockchain Developer Community
BigCoin, one of the most thriving and popular Vietnamese crypto community, announced its cooperation with ARPA and that it has become an ARPA supernode.
