Dear ARPA community,

The seasons may change, but the work and momentum behind ARPA Network does not. From strategic integrations and major ecosystem collaborations to thought leadership in the verifiability and AI space, this spring has marked another leap forward in our mission to power trust and preserve privacy in Web3 and AI Agents. We’re happy to provide another update that showcases our major advancements, strategic collaborations, and ongoing initiatives in order to provide our community with a clear view of how we’re growing and reinforcing the ARPA ecosystem. Thank you again for continuing with us on this journey!

Ecosystem Expansion

  • Randcast x CARV Chain: ARPA Network has partnered with CARV Protocol to integrate our verifiable RNG product Randcast into CARV’s AI and gaming ecosystems. By embedding on-chain randomness into the CARV SVM Layer 2, Randcast ensures fairness, unpredictability, and transparency for gaming mechanics, NFT minting, and AI-driven applications. This collaboration strengthens both projects’ missions to build trust-centric infrastructure for Web3.
  • ARPA x GPT Wars: Randcast now fuels autonomous AI battles in the Base-native game GPT Wars. This marks yet another project on Base that has integrated ARPA’s Randcast and marks our continued effort to expand presence across all Web3 chains and ecosystems.
  • ARPA x STP: We joined the Autonomous Worlds Engine (AWE) to provide privacy-preserving infrastructure for intelligent, trustless on-chain AI ecosystems. As a long-time backer of Autonomous World projects, ARPA is excited to work alongside AWE to explore on-chain randomness applications for more AW gameplay.
  • Randcast x Sonic SVM: We partnered with Sonic, the first atomic Solana Virtual Machine chain, in an effort to enhance transparency in high-speed on-chain gaming. This collaboration enhances fairness and unpredictability in gaming economies, supporting use cases like loot drops, character generation, and game logic. By leveraging Randcast, Sonic looks to ensure secure, on-chain randomness.
  • Randcast x SOON: ARPA Network’s Randcast is set to launch on SOON mainnet, delivering verifiable randomness to one of Ethereum’s most active AI-powered gaming ecosystems. SOON leverages account abstraction to simplify onboarding and gameplay, making it easier for users to interact with on-chain games. By integrating Randcast, SOON ensures fair, tamper-proof randomness for loot boxes, matchmaking, and other gameplay mechanics.
  • Randcast x SoloChain: ARPA now powers SoloChain, the first Agentic DePIN Mining Chain, with verifiable randomness. The integration ensures Solochain’s decentralized AI agents and physical infrastructure systems operate with trustless, cryptographic randomness. Randcast promotes security and fairness for mission-critical processes like reputation scoring and on-chain coordination.

ARPA AVS Restaking & Growth

  • Season 4 of AVS Restaking launched with dynamic rewards via EigenLayer’s Rewards v2. Over 70,000 ARPA are being distributed to incentivize community participation. What’s special about season 4 are the increased capabilities facilitated through our integration with EigenLayer Rewards v2, including token-agnostic and batch rewards, as well as custom reward durations.

Milestones:

  • TVL peaked at $4.8B in May.
  • Over 100K stakers now participate in the ARPA AVS.
  • The network maintains a robust operator base with continued infrastructure enhancements.

Global Reach & Community

  • AKBANK x $ARPA: Turkey’s largest bank now supports direct ARPA token purchases via BTCTurk integration.
  • Token2049 Dubai: ARPA co-hosted a major side event with RaveDAO, gaining spotlight in the Wall Street Journal.
  • Blockchain Days Turkey: Sponsored the nation’s first student-led blockchain summit, deepening ties with young Web3 builders.

Thought Leadership

ARPA Network CEO Felix Xu was featured in major outlets including:

  • Hackernoon article exploring how verifiability in Web3 ensures trust and transparency without centralized intermediaries. The piece highlights the importance of cryptographic proofs, smart contracts, and decentralized consensus mechanisms in validating actions and data. As Web3 grows, verifiability is foundational to building scalable, trustless systems in sectors like finance, gaming, and AI.
  • An opinion piece on Cointelegraph that argues for methods to solve AI’s trust problem by leveraging decentralized tech. It covers our views on implementing transparency tools like verifiable computing, zero-knowledge proofs, and cryptographic auditing. These technologies can help ensure that AI systems operate reliably and fairly well into the distant future.

  • Quoted in a technical piece on Decrypt about how advances in quantum computing pose a significant threat to modern cryptography. The piece itself emphasizes the urgency for blockchain networks and tech companies to develop and adopt quantum-resistant cryptographic solutions, quoting Felix’s remarks about past cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
  • A CryptoSlate feature discussing the growing importance of verifiable AI to help balance innovation with trust and transparency. The article mentions some of the latest developments in U.S. regulation regarding Web3 and AI, and diagnoses how verifiable AI via zero-knowledge proofs and zero-knowledge machine learning can bridge the gap to ensure accountability while incentivizing innovation.

Alex Su, ARPA’s Chief Cryptographic Researcher, shared insights on verifiable AI agents with CoinCentral. In the article, Alex was quoted based on his expertise of multi-party computing and zero-knowledge proofs. He expressed the significance of ZKP technology for the next generation of AI Agents, which mirrors ARPA Network’s current research focus in an effort to innovate upon privacy-preserving AI agents.

Tech & Infra Updates

  • Added support for B3 Chain.
  • Enhanced shutdown logic and websocket connection stability.
  • Introduced auto node activation and greater configuration flexibility for operators.
  • Fixed key GitHub CI/CD bugs.

About ARPA

ARPA Network (ARPA) is a decentralized secure computation network built to improve the fairness, security, and privacy of blockchains. ARPA threshold BLS signature network serves as the infrastructure of verifiable Random Number Generator (RNG), secure wallet, cross-chain bridge, and decentralized custody across multiple blockchains.

ARPA was previously known as ARPA Chain, a privacy-preserving Multi-party Computation (MPC) network founded in 2018. ARPA Mainnet has completed over 224,000 computation tasks in the past years. Our experience in MPC and other cryptography laid the foundation for our innovative threshold BLS signature schemes (TSS-BLS) system design and led us to today’s ARPA Network.

Randcast, a verifiable Random Number Generator (RNG), is the first application that leverages ARPA as infrastructure. Randcast offers a cryptographically generated random source with superior security and low cost compared to other solutions. Metaverse, game, lottery, NFT minting and whitelisting, key generation, and blockchain validator task distribution can benefit from Randcast’s tamper-proof randomness.
