Speaking at Korean Fintech Summit by IT Chosun

ARPA’s cofounder and CEO Felix Xu will speak at Korean Fintech Summit hosted by IT Chosun on Dec 5. ARPA CEO Felix, R3, Kakao Bank, Woori Bank, Baidu, Samsung, Nestle will give speeches on various topics.

ARPA went online and started transactions with Korean Won at Coinone, which is one of the largest exchanges in Korea.

At November 5 12:00 am, ARPA started voting for marketing tokens in Binance.

Partnership with the Largest Crypto Platform Cobak

Cobak (https://cobak.co.kr/) has joined as the lastest ARPA supernode.

Cobak is one of the largest crypto platforms (300k+ users) in Korea, providing token sales, ticker check, news, airdrop, wallets and more. Also, Cobak is mainly known for its community and forum where investors and projects share thoughts and information.

Interview with Chosun IT

Felix Xu, ARPA Co-founder & CEO, was invited to an exclusive interview with Chosun Ilbo on August 15th. Felix shared his vision of data privacy and synergy enabled by privacy-preserving computation. Article titled “Dream Team from Silicon Valley and China to Tackle Data Privacy Problem” was posted on the frontpage of IT Chosun.

Felix said “The goal of Project ARPA is to separate data ownership and usage, or data renting. We are creating ways for multiple entities (enterprises or individuals) to collaboratively compute data, run big data analysis, while keeping each party’s data private and secure.” ARPA is actively looking for prospects in finance industry in Korea.

Chosun Ilbo is the most influential mainstream media in South Korea with over 100 years of history. Chosun distributes over 2.3 million newspaper copies per day and reaches 50 million audiences in Korea and overseas.

Meetup in Seoul

ARPA co-hosted an invite-only meetup in Seoul, South Korea with top exchange Gate.io and MakerDAO on September 28th. As part of Korea Blockchain Week, ARPA meetup received overwhelming attendance. Over 100 ARPA supporters and Gate.io VIPs and users showed up.

Interview with The Nodist

Felix Xu, ARPA Co-founder & CEO, was interviewed by The Nodist, a Korea and Japan based blockchain media during Korea Blockchain Week. Felix talked about real world applications of privacy-preserving computation. ARPA’s cryptographic Multi-party Computation (MPC) protocol has obvious applications across industries, including fintech, insurance, advertising, artificial intelligence, healthcare, and more.

In Vietnam

Partnership with Largest Crypto Platform BigCoin

BigCoin, the largest blockchain developer community in Vietnam, officially announced a partnership with ARPA and will become an ARPA supernode in the future.

Community Meetup in Vietnam

The ARPA community in Vietnam organized a consensus meeting in Hanoi. In the meeting, the ARPA community introduced and discussed on the technical advance of MPC in privacy data security, ARPA token transactions on Binance DEX through Trust Wallet, and ARPA’s landing on the main website of Binance.

The preceding events indicate that ARPA has a high influence in Vietnam and will work with the ARPA community in Vietnam to further explore the blockchain market in Vietnam in the future.
