We are thrilled to announce that ARPA Network has established a strategic partnership with InfStones for node operation. InfStones is a leading blockchain infrastructure provider and staking service provider. This collaboration marks a major milestone in our continued efforts to enhance the robustness, security, and decentralization of the ARPA network.

ARPA BLS-TSS Network consists of multiple groups of nodes. Such design optimizes both network security and computation performance. The network becomes increasingly reliable as more nodes join.

In addition to hosting nodes and providing professional tech support, partners like InfStones have to stake a considerable number of tokens. Also, we apply a staking mechanism ensuring good behavior is rewarded, while malicious nodes get their tokens slashed. Thus, the more nodes there are, the less likely a single bad actor can do damage worth the cost. Each new node makes the entire network more secure.

“We are excited to have the opportunity to partner with InfStones at a strategic level and learn from them for their rich and comprehensive experience in node operation, staking service, cloud management, and security solution for blockchain infrastructure,” said Felix Xu, CEO & Co-founder of ARPA. “We believe the collaboration will significantly help to facilitate ARPA MainNet ecosystem prosperity.”

“We are delighted to establish a strategic partnership with the ARPA Network and to witness the remarkable growth of the ARPA community,” said Dr. Zhenwu Shi, Founder and CEO of InfStones. “Drawing upon our expertise and extensive experience across multiple protocols, we look forward to closely working with the ARPA team and providing node services to empower the ARPA Network to achieve rapid and secure development while further solidifying its decentralization.”

Decentralization is at the heart of the ARPA Network. This partnership is a major step in advancing the decentralization of the ARPA network. By spreading node operation across a broader range of partners, we’re preventing the concentration of power, improving network performance, and ensuring that the ARPA network remains truly decentralized and resilient against various attacks. These are essential in spurring ecosystem growth, which will potentially enhance rewards for our community members and ARPA token holders through increased network activity.

Looking ahead, we aim to continue growing and strengthening our network through strategic node partnerships. The collaboration with InfStones is a key step toward our goals. We couldn’t be more excited to get started!

About ARPA

ARPA Network (ARPA) is a decentralized secure computation network built to improve the fairness, security, and privacy of blockchains. ARPA threshold BLS signature network serves as the infrastructure of verifiable Random Number Generator (RNG), secure wallet, cross-chain bridge, and decentralized custody across multiple blockchains.

ARPA was previously known as ARPA Chain, a privacy-preserving Multi-party Computation (MPC) network founded in 2018. ARPA Mainnet has completed over 224,000 computation tasks in the past years. Our experience in MPC and other cryptography laid the foundation for our innovative threshold BLS signature schemes (TSS-BLS) system design and led us to today’s ARPA Network.

Randcast, a verifiable Random Number Generator (RNG), is the first application that leverages ARPA as infrastructure. Randcast offers a cryptographically generated random source with superior security and low cost compared to other solutions. Metaverse, game, lottery, NFT minting and whitelisting, key generation, and blockchain validator task distribution can benefit from Randcast’s tamper-proof randomness.
