We are thrilled to announce that ARPA Network has established a strategic partnership with Particle Network for node operation. Particle Network offers plug-and-play solutions for simplified Web3 app development, including seamless Authentication, Wallet-as-a-Service, and NFT solutions, Node RPC, and Data API Service. This collaboration marks a major milestone in our continued efforts to enhance the robustness, security, and decentralization of the ARPA network.

ARPA BLS-TSS Network consists of multiple groups of nodes. Such design optimizes both network security and computation performance. The network becomes increasingly reliable as more nodes join.

In addition to hosting nodes and providing professional tech support, partners like Particle Network have to stake a considerable number of tokens. Also, we apply a staking mechanism ensuring good behavior is rewarded, while malicious nodes get their tokens slashed. Thus, the more nodes there are, the less likely a single bad actor can do damage worth the cost. Each new node makes the entire network more secure.

“We are thrilled to announce our strategic partnership with Particle Network,” said Felix Xu, CEO & Co-founder of ARPA. “Having Particle as a node partner will not only bolster ARPA MainNet’s capabilities but also leverage their extensive resources and expertise in providing developer toolkits to drive the continued growth of ARPA Network and ARPA Randcast ecosystem.”

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to announce our partnership with ARPA, embarking on this exciting journey together. This strategic collaboration aims to empower builders by harnessing our expertise and robust middleware services, propelling the web3 industry forward through our combined effort and expertise,” said Bryan, Growth Lead at Particle Network.

Decentralization is at the heart of the ARPA Network. This partnership is a major step in advancing the decentralization of the ARPA network. By spreading node operation across a broader range of partners, we’re preventing the concentration of power, improving network performance, and ensuring that the ARPA network remains truly decentralized and resilient against various attacks. These are essential in spurring ecosystem growth, which will potentially enhance rewards for our community members and ARPA token holders through increased network activity.

Looking ahead, we aim to continue growing and strengthening our network through strategic node partnerships. The collaboration with Particle Network is a key step toward our goals. We couldn’t be more excited to get started!

About Particle Network

Particle Network is a leading provider of Web3 application development through our extensive range of plug-and-play solutions. Our offerings include Authentication (Web2 Social Log-in to Web3 Wallet creation), Wallet-as-a-Service (MPC-TSS & Account Abstraction), NFT solutions, Node RPC, and Data API Service. By partnering with many of the leading Web3 projects, we’ve achieved conversion rate increases from 15% to 95% and successfully onboarded millions of users into web3. Our mission is to simplify web3 for both developers and users alike.

About ARPA

ARPA Network (ARPA) is a decentralized secure computation network built to improve the fairness, security, and privacy of blockchains. ARPA threshold BLS signature network serves as the infrastructure of verifiable Random Number Generator (RNG), secure wallet, cross-chain bridge, and decentralized custody across multiple blockchains.

ARPA was previously known as ARPA Chain, a privacy-preserving Multi-party Computation (MPC) network founded in 2018. ARPA Mainnet has completed over 224,000 computation tasks in the past years. Our experience in MPC and other cryptography laid the foundation for our innovative threshold BLS signature schemes (TSS-BLS) system design and led us to today’s ARPA Network.

Randcast, a verifiable Random Number Generator (RNG), is the first application that leverages ARPA as infrastructure. Randcast offers a cryptographically generated random source with superior security and low cost compared to other solutions. Metaverse, game, lottery, NFT minting and whitelisting, key generation, and blockchain validator task distribution can benefit from Randcast’s tamper-proof randomness.
