ARPA Partners with Quantum Music to Bring Multi-Billion Influencer Economy to Web3.0
The rising star is currently completing a crowdfunding round on Republic. It aims to bring its 70M+ and quickly growing followers to the Web3.0 era with the help of ARPA’s existing solutions.
We are thrilled to announce that ARPA and Quantum Music, a Chicago-based online marketplace for the influencer economy focusing on Asia, formed a strategic partnership in February 2022. The collaboration will better orient Quantum Music in its exploration in Web3.0 and metaverse and bring mass adoption to ARPA’s products and technology.
With a 70-million+ follower base, combined with over 300 affiliated influencers in its ecosystem, Quantum Music has quickly grown as one of the notable players in the Asian influencer space since its launch. Via providing digital solutions for influencers to increase their fan base and generate extra income, while for brands to better implement precision marketing, Quantum Music spots opportunities in the long-tail small-to-medium influencer economy.
Now, after securing a $1 million investment from seed round investors and a successful debut to Republic’s multi-million users, Quantum Music is looking at scale-up outside Asia and innovation beyond traditional tech methods.
“There are millions of micro-influencers in Asia, many of whom are underserved by technology. Historically, the resources have been very unevenly distributed among the creators. Web3.0 is likely to change the game for micro-influencers drastically. We want to better help these micro-influencers build and capitalize on their true fans with the power of cutting-edge technologies, such as blockchain.” said Quan Zhang, Co-Founder & CEO of Quantum Music: “I have a Ph.D. in Physics, and innovation is in our company’s DNA. We want to explore experiments in the Metaverse and NFT space with a strong partner like ARPA.”
ARPA’s verifiable random number generator (RNG), code-named as Randcast, aims to empower hundreds and thousands of Web3.0 companies with verifiable randomness. The demand for RNG stemmed from blockchain games, NFT, lotteries, and other Metaverse components is increasing, and an affordable, verifiable, decentralized, and accessible solution is imminent.
“We believe it’ll be a win-win. Quantum Music will set its foot on the Web3.0 wonderland using the best-in-class RNG tool to ensure the fairness of their future tokenized assets. At the same time, Randcast will empower Quantum Music’s global fan base that’ll provide adequate feedback for future iteration from a big sample capacity,” said Yemu Xu, Co-Founder of ARPA.
As blockchain veteran and Web3.0 pioneer, ARPA will also bring first-hand insights on token economics and community governance to the ideation phase of Quantum Music’s Web3.0 initiative.
“With a long-term conviction on the future of Web3.0, we are excited to see the momentum in adoption and are even more excited to help players like Quantum Music embark on their Web3.0 expedition,” Yemu added: “together we enable and define the future of Web3.0.”

ARPA is a blockchain-based solution for privacy-preserving computation, enabled by Multi-Party Computation (“MPC”). Founded in April 2018, the goal of ARPA is to separate data utility from ownership and enable data renting. ARPA’s MPC protocol creates ways for multiple entities to collaboratively analyze data and extract data synergies while keeping each party’s data input private and secure. ARPA allows secret sharing of private data, and the correctness of computation is verifiable using the information-theoretic Message Authentication Code (MAC).
Developers can build privacy-preserving dApps on blockchains compatible with ARPA. Some immediate use cases include: credit anti-fraud, secure data wallet, precision marketing, joint AI model training, key management systems, etc. For example, banks using the ARPA network can share their credit blacklist for risk management purposes without exposing their customer data or privacy.
Team members have worked at leading institutions such as Google, Amazon, Huawei, Fosun, Tsinghua University, Fidelity Investments. ARPA is currently assisting the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology in setting the national standard for secure multi-party computation. ARPA is a corporate member of MPC Alliance and IEEE and is in partnership with fortune 500 companies to implement proofs-of-concept and MPC products. In 2019, ARPA was named the Top 10 most innovative blockchain companies in China by China Enterprise News and China Software Industry Association.
