We are thrilled to announce the launch of the long-awaited Community Pool Staking program. This exciting development follows the successful ARPA Network MainNet launch just a week ago. We want to thank our community for your unwavering support throughout this journey.

ARPA Staking serves as a benefit for early supporters of the ARPA Network, allowing you to earn rewards by participating in the staking program ahead of time. In version 0.1, we have implemented auto delegation for community members, making the staking process seamless and efficient. As ARPA Network continues to expand, we are committed to introducing an upgraded delegation mechanism that will enhance the staking system and add additional layers of security to the network.

Why Staking Matters?

Staking plays an essential role in maintaining the smooth operation of the ARPA network. It offers incentives to token holders for their contribution to upholding the network’s integrity and optimal performance.

ARPA Network is designed as a permissionless network for anyone to join and run nodes. The strength of the network lies in the number of nodes participating and the amount of ARPA staked. As more nodes join the network and more ARPA tokens are staked, the network becomes increasingly reliable. By staking your ARPA tokens, you actively contribute to the network’s security, bolstering its defenses against potential attacks.

Staking ARPA tokens also plays a vital role in promoting decentralization. It encourages more participants to run nodes, preventing any single entity from gaining excessive control over the network. This commitment to decentralization ensures that the network remains resilient and resistant to potential centralization risks.

By actively participating in staking, while earning rewards, you play a key role in enhancing the network’s efficiency and establishing a resilient ecosystem for all participants. This not only positions you as an early adopter but also empowers you to actively shape the future direction of the ARPA community. What is Community Pool Staking?

We understand that not everyone wants to run a node, and we appreciate the enthusiasm of our supporters who wish to be early adopters and actively contribute to our network’s growth. That’s why we are introducing Community Pool Staking as an alternative, providing a hassle-free experience for those who want to participate. The program, with an intuitive staking portal, offers straightforward and accessible staking and exiting without the need for hardware, node maintenance, or minimum staking thresholds.

With a monthly allocation of 1.5 million ARPA tokens, stakers in the Community Pool will receive rewards based on the proportion of their staking ticket to the pool’s cap. Starting with a cap of 50 million tokens for the first month, the cap will increase by 10 million tokens every 30 days throughout the staking program.

With the aim to benefit as many supporters as possible, we have put a 2.5M cap on the staking amount per address, but with no minimum requirement. Stakers have the flexibility to deposit and claim rewards at any time. However, please note that when unstaking, there will be a 14-day unlock period before the tokens can be claimed.

In addition to registering to run a node and participating in the Community Pool Staking, we invite developers to prepare for the upcoming 0.1.0-Alpha launch of Randcast. Randcast showcases a verifiable Random Number Generator powered by the ARPA Network, it will introduce a new layer of innovation to our network, pushing the boundaries in various areas, including blockchain games and lotteries, NFT distribution, wallet management, and DAO governance.
